Wow, I thought these coaches were scrapped and gone. Does both of the MG ACC coaches built by ICF still survive? If so, where is th other one? This coach has traveled all ver India, on SR, WR, NWR and now NFR!!

I saw this train at Delhi Safdarjung in March this year. Three years ago, it was seen at Ratnagiri. It used to have a locomotive in matching livery then.

It appears that the original Deccan itinerary did not work well but still the name Deccan Odyssey has caught on!

To add to Anamitra's comment -
The 15 day tour starts in Mumbai and ends in Calcutta. During the tour the Deccan Odyssey takes the
following route 'Mumbai -> Udaipur -> Jaipur -> Delhi -> Agra -> Varanasi -> Siliguri'.
From Siliguri, tourists travel to Darjeeling by the toy train and then to Bagdogra for a flight to Calcutta.

There is a Deccan Odyssey trip through Mumbai - Udaipur - Jaipur - Agra - Varanasi - Darjeeling, after which an NRM ride takes charge of passengers.

The plan is the same as the Dining car of the Deccan Queen, but that is where the similarity ends.

What is it doing in Siliguri? I thought the Deccan Odyssey is supposed to cover the tourist spots in Maharashtra.
