Excellent project undertaken. Good to see the re - birth of this loco. I wonder how many trips I wonder he must have taken to capture and study the parts of the loco.

Major overhaul in 25 days!! That is some motivation!! Hats off to the staff of the loco shed. Wish the WDM4 at NRM gets same treatment.

From what is visible in the refurbished cab and external views,this loco has not been converted for air-brake operation.If this is true then it is not going to be able to work any significant train on mainlines as almost 100% BG rolling stock is now air-braked.This will also result in the loco becoming a show-piece rather than becoming fit for revenue earning service.
