In fact, this photo was taken shortly after doubling of the PGT - ERS section. In the initial days after doubling, as you can see in this photo, north bound express trains used to stop at Platform #1. Later, this practice was stopped and this had led to much resentment amongst the traveling public.

In agreement with David,it is also not dissimilar to the 17:22 South West Trains service from London Waterloo to Ashford (Middlesex)!!

This pic is real sexy bt the only thing which really screws it is the litter which is there on the blast. I hope ppl become little civilised and stop littering the tracks
