Spotted this fellow at Pune on 10th Saturday 2011 in the lungi between PF1 and the Running Room, so in all probability has been allocated to Pune.

Shanx..just sent u the orig pics of the loco to help decide if there is a slant in the hood. I was worried the WAG9 would get the starter anytime to X-over to mainline, so clicked without stepping back, and composing the shot :)

DMW Patiala doesn't exactly build new locos, but assembles them from components sent by DLW, the same way as Parel workshop does. Also, it appears that the short hood of the loco is slanted, like the one in the one of WDM3F. But is it really slanted or result of lens distorton when open fully wide?
