No Anamitra, all 60xx and 61xx series locos are 2000 HP class old BR workhorses, brought from ALCO, Canada. It is only the 62xx Series EMD locos which were imported from Hitachi, Japan. It is true that the 63xx series EMD locos were Bombardier, Canada made. However, I have never been to Bangladesh and all information I have got is acquired from Najmul, the photographer.

My fav in Bangladesh are Bombardier locos which have hooded nose, making them look very different.
