Why is there fencing beside the tracks? New policies?

Infact clinging on the sides of the EMu or travelling on the rooftops or in-between the coaches is an offence, and the offender can be fined/punished if caught by the authorities.

yes.....that is very usual during peak hours in mumbai.

In addition to the AC / DC feature, another unique point is that it has old style couplers. This means in case of power failure it can be attached to a conventional Diesel Locomotive and pulled to a better point.

Do I see it correctly, someone seems to be sitting on the roof of EMU. Is that usual?
