Yes, this is indeed a common feature in all the trains operating under CR. However, not all locos put up boards indicating the train names. I haven't seen this feature in any other divisions of IR.

So here it is, unarguably the noisiest loco in IR; the great WCG-2!!! Those who haven't heard it howling, do come to Mumbai & visit either Karjat or Kasara station on CR and get mad on hearing its deafening howl!!!

There is another trip shed for pure AC locos at the Nasik end at Igatpuri.

Some non-IR info. The banks of river Pench (board seen in pic.) is the place where the jungle boy was actually found ( named Mowglie later on!). A book was then written on him and then a movie made...
