No, that loco was #15024. Both the pics were taken on the same day within a span of aout 30 mins. The 15024 was standing roughly a km away from this spot.

Isn't this the one that was involved in a collision with a WDS4 sometime back? No wonder the paint job looks crooked then! Bad repair work. Plates are crooked too.

Dear Bharath M,
Are u sure about this. Infact the rake with blue windows are the older rakes. The Rakes with the black window came in later at the Shastri Park Depot. Frankly speaking i havent yet came across a BEML rake. The BEML rake is at the Khyber pass depot ie its running on the underground route as told to the press by the PRO Anuj Dayal

wish GZB maintained their locos better even with th older wap1 livery their locos were generally dirty,a shining new wap7 in CLW looks wonderfull.

This loco was rear-ended by a WDS4 near the Lajpat Nagar home signal on the 25th of January night. The WDS4 had overshot the outer signal but the day (or rather the night) could still have been saved had the all essential marker lamps of the WDP1 been working - they were not! So much for safety on IR!
