It's a mixture of 3 languages - English, Hindi and Marathi (the word Parli has the hard L sound which exists only in Marathi)

If ever the railway line reaches the other Murud (of Murud - Janjira fame near Mumbai), one of the two or both will have to be renamed, just like Gandhinagar (Jaipur) and Gandhinagar Capital.

why can't they align the cable properly. Anybody remembers Prince Phillip's comment on British Railway,"seems like Made in India".

This place must have looked amazing in its heyday. Nice architecture of the station building... sadly counting its last days before being vandalized by humans and Nature alike!

The new station is 5 kms away on the city outskirts. Not sure but heard from someone saying the land is being given for making a new Medical College there.
