Yes, I was around 10m away and I think the driver had no clue.
Actually, I was surprised to see it LHF

Precisely, just wondering how much area must this blind spot be covering and how much lesser view will the driver have as compared to the view from a normal WDM, both with LHF - Sandeep Bhate.

Just wondering, to what extent might the view of driver be obstructed? Of course, while hauling a rake LHF - Sandeep Bhate.

Rare is a MLY shed Loco at YNK
Only DM2's for shunting are present at MLY, I have seen a MLY shed WDM2 17706 hauling Shiridi Express at Hyderabad which is rare

Sorry for a very basic / silly query :P But will be nice to know what's exactly rare in here? - Sandeep Bhate.

Interesting perspective - I guess Ragu must have been standing some 10 m away from the loco, and none of the driver view ports are visible. Talk about "blind spot". Like they have in the trucks - if you cannot see my mirrors, I cannot see you.

Yes; thats the Ernakulam-Trivandrum-Ernakulam Jan Shatabdi rake. There seems to be a locomotive attached to it as well.

The Erode Jumbo (next to a comparitively much fresh looking WAP4) looks very dirty and needs a repaint asap. Which is the rake seen in the background? By any chance, is it a JanShatabdi rake? - Sandeep Bhate.
