CHTS is surely wounded but refuses to die. This is the reason. The huge container terminals present it with lots of revenue. A BOXC rake has made a strange visit to the Container terminal. CHTS, 2003-12-26. By Jimmy Jose.

A bit off-topic. This is the old Cochin Airport. A much worse fate than CHTS has fallen over it. Witness to World War 2, the first jet landing in Kerala and a plane crash, it was closed in June 1999 when the new airport, about 30 kms away from here was in

Though Railways have foresaken the Cochin Harbour Terminus and no passenger trains come here anymore, the station still look majestic in the moonlight and is a reminder to it's glorious yesteryears
