The display here shows a key which was used to lock the train doors. It was used by an army officer (whose photo is also displayed next to the key) during the partition to lock the doors of the train on the way to Pakistan from India during the partition. He declared the train to be military train and thus saved the lives of many people. There is also a letter written in Urdu the contents of which I do not recall.
