Awesome shot. The hill in the background and the catenary jungle adds to the picture, not to mention the fumes from the exhaust of the Alco. Great stuff.

Amazing picture. The colorful WCAG1 and the colorful containers and the hidden KYN diesel gives the picture superb effect. The catenary jungle this time does not negate the quality of picture.

Jimmy 3 to 4 weeks back there was a speed restriction & trains were literally crawling at 20-30kph, but yesterday they were passing at 50-55kph which is high speed action as per Kopar Road standards.

Does trains really take good speed here? Back in 2005, they used to almost crawl through the station. What was the approximate speed? See old pic

Two Loco Pilots are retiring next day and their names are displayed on board. Hence the decoration. One of them may be working this train.

WCAM3 #21889 seems to be the regular power for the IC. Co-incidently, this same loco had done the inaugural run of the 2128 IC from Pune. My IC of 16th December 2006 had it as well!!

You guessed it right, Giri. This location is the now defunct level crossing gate at the northern end of Borivali station.
