What is that triangular shaped ventilator like thing found on roof of all the locos ?

I guess this is a rarer combo nowadays.. WAP1 with shatabdi.

I totally agree with Arzie bhai. The livery is stunning, just like the WAP 1's that hauled MYS Shatabdi.

How interestingly the same livery which looked great with the AJJ WAM's looks pretty tacky like a passenger train finish on the WAPs

Yes.The MU cables are installed at the other end of the loco.

Without MU cables the WAP1 looks still better. Great to see my most favourite elctric loco looking as grand as the WAP1's of the 80's and 90's. Ramki, thanks for capturing it.

Should it have MU cables on both the sides. The very point of having the cables is to avoid reversal at any point right, so probably it is put on one face. Please see this pic of the AJJ WAM4. It seems to lack MU cables.
