Those 'D' shaped buffers bring a lot of Nostalgic memories back

Jimmy, these were WAMs, not WAGs.
Zubin: I think your confusing these with the WAG2's that were based at BSL. Those were scrapped in the late 90s.
Anamitra - was SDAH ever a homing shed? I thought it was only a trip shed.

A couple of these were there at BSL ( Scrapped) say about five years back.

I suppose this is the same loco seen here:

Look at the ancient coach behind it

Sachin bhai, this BBM/1 classification is based on the french classification for this class. These later became the WAG 1 series loco. They were originally imported from SNCF, france. Note the european style buffer and side window. You can see a pic of this loco here:

Bharat, this livery was unique to the whole ER. Even MGS (under ER) shed's WAM-4/WAG-5 locos had the same livery.

These were called as BBM-1 and later renamed as WAM-1. They were based at ASN and SDAH till early 2000 before being scrapped at KPA workshop one by one.

This confirms my comment on your earlier pic. The 202xx series were all WAM1's and this livery was unique to ER, possibly Asansol shed.

Sachin, if I recall correctly, these later came to be known as WAM1's. They were found mostly on ER.
