Lovelye. River bed, hillock on the right, this landscape looks pretty similar to the Bhatsa bridge near Vasind. Your efforts have given rich rewards.

Rake composition does not look familiar to Marusagar...AFAIK Ernakulam bound Marusagar has got 3 unreserved coaches in the front and no HCPV followed by AC coaches...and Goa SK cannot pass through KR on 17th July which was a Saturday...

During monsoon time, many KR trains get offlinks. Regular links go for a toss. Mandovi got a KZJ WDM3A, KJM WDG3A, KYN WDG3A a week back. If Marusagar got a WDM3A that day, it is not surprising.

Sachin, as per the notes which I have this was the Goa Sampark Kranti with the loco RTM WDM-3A 16790.
Correct me if this wrong..
