nice catch Jacob..indeed a rare loco to spot out.resembles more of a the WDM3D itself...any idea of how much of this 3400 HP goods carriers are produced?

Hmmm...a WDG3A = 3100 HP, so a WDG3D would be 3400 HP??
Besides, notice, a part of its load on the left of the snap.

It seems most probably like an extension of the Gajraj series...even the road numbers (13XXX) as well as the livery matches the Gajraj series.

Very nice photo. Nice spotting. Even the livery is a blend of WDM 3D and WDG 3A. The next loco in the series, 13302, has clear WDG 3A markings. See pic here: http://flickr.com/photos/jimmystrains/868769963/

Another good picture. You could have used a smaller aperture to get the background in focus too.
