Sandeep and myself saw this loco in its strange livery at Erode with the Tea Garden, surprising us both by not getting detached but instead carried on toward Cochin.

Nice pic, Jimmy. I like the winged crest of Ratlam shed.

14037 looks like a WDP-1, doesn't it?

Loco allocation for TVC Raj in 2000 was:
TVC-BRC: WDM 2 (ERS); BRC-NZM: WAP 4 (BRC)
Loco allocation now:
TVC-Vasai Road: WDP 2 (GOC); Vasai Rd-BRC: WCAM 2 (BL); BRC-NZM: WAP 4 (BRC)

Question: Doesn't the TVC Raj usually get a WDP2 on its run from BRC to TVC? Is the Ernakulam WDM2A just a last minute replacement?
Also, is it often that the TVC Raj gets a Shatabdi power car? Which is the Shatabdi with which the power car is swapped?
