What the guy at the shed told me was that soft metal is also disposed off here. As you said, any other metal is disposed off as scrap. In fact, waste metal from here and the wheel cutting plant is dispatched to Ajmer for possible reuse

The LKO loco was the only outsider at the shed and spent more time at the refuelling point. Most probably, it hauled a special SR rake later in the evening from ABR

You are right...it is Trimasik...meaning Three-monthly. Thge loco on the right is LKO WDM2

Erode Diesel considers itself a bit above the law. I am yet to see an Erode loco marked WDM3A or WDG3A, they persist with the old WDM2C and WDG2 nomenclature. Hope ERS doesn't do the same.

the line of locos on the left & right seem to be coupled together, readying for heay frieght haulage, or banking duties. Are they MU-ed as well?
