Pawan - the first recorded visit of a WDP-4 to Mumbai Central was way back in 2003 for testing the new LHB rake of the Mumbai Rajdhani. WDP-4 #20000 had visited Mumbai at that time.

A WDP-4 had also hauled this train (12996/12995) in Nov 2011 when the AC conversion of BVI-VLP was carried out.

You can find the photos on the IRFCA Gallery.

Nice one. The first train to enter in AC Power with electric locomotive to Mumbai without any block problem. It passed Kelve Road at 110kph flat at 16:30hrs.

This cannot be Kutch Express. Kutch came directly with diesel link of with Vatva WDM-3A # 18627. Video for the same will be coming soon on my YT channel "acpatel5". As per Date and Time seen above this seems to be Sayaji Nagari Express. Please correct if I'm wrong.

Thanks Arzan.

Dear Mr. Rao - Why should it terminate the services? When Andheri went AC, CR deployed ACDC rakes for Andheri services. Now Bandra has gone AC, so CR has to deploy ACDC rakes for Bandra services too. Hence no question of terminating of CR services at Wadala.
