There were no usual tring tring announcements on that day! It was this video clip along with the happy birthday to you audio that was played in loop in all the platforms at Central. Proud moment for the entire IRFCA community! There was only one (manual) special announcement in the usual style (12639 will depart from Pf 10...) just at the time of departure at 0750 when the GM waved the green flag.

Fantastic shot - have seen many pictures of the Doyang viaduct over the years but never one with this unique angle. Brought back fond memories of our ride down to Lumding in the guard's caboose in 2005. Tomorrow this section and this bridge will be history...
