Excellent Photo vikas. The early morning sun, the loco and the figure shrouded in a shawl, all combine to make an excellent snap. Wonderfull!!

DETC = Diesel Electric Tower Car. This is a diesel hauled OHE maintenance vehicle with electric transmission. The 'Tower' is the hydraulically actuated platform on the roof that can be raised, lowered or even swung on the adjescent track. There is a dummy pantograph for alignment purpose. There is an all weather 'cockpit' on the roof through which the ride of the dummy panto can be viewed at speed.

Great Pics Apu! Wish I were there. Looks like the cleareance is tight for the OHE wires. Wonder how they will manage when the 25,000 V OHE system is to be laid.
