These coaches seem to have septic tanks like in aircrafts in their toilets. Do the conventional LHB coaches have them as well??

I wonder why they need such a wide aisle! Couldn't they have made the seats a little more broader instead providing more comfort to 'healthy' executives travelling by the prestigious train?

Gomti and Vikramshila were the first two non-Rajdhani trains to have non-stop runs between Delhi and Kanpur. Within a year, Vikramshila acquired halts at Aligarh and Tundla. Around this time, the Sonbhadra Exp. was introduced between New Delhi and Patna. So, for a while, Jayanti Janata / Sonbhadra / Vikramshila used to share slots in the NDLS-ALD and MGS-PNBE sections.

I remember during by 2007 visit to LKU, a power outage completely severed the signals at LKU station. Since there was no train from 1-4pm, the SM decided to leave the signals defunct until 3:30 after which the guys at the stn coolly switched on the genset at the stn and the signals came back to life to receive the next train.

@ Karan,
It is Unlikely that 2027/28,Bangalore Shatabdi(originating from SBC)would get a LHB set.RCF is going by shatabdi series no's.(ie 2007/08,2009/10).
That is why i said SWR will long to have one, once daily movements of 2007/08 commence!
Rest assured 2009/10 will get their Pending Dues!

The Yellow vertical stripe signifying presence of CBC couplers could have been avoided. It kinda spoils the classy silver-and-blue look of the rake!
