Hi Everyone... Thanks for your advices... However the Train was stationery there for more than 15 mins as Deccan Express was to overtake this BCNA Rake. The Red Signal was just behind me... I love my life as much as I love the Trains... Will therefore never risk my life if the train is in motion.

If that is the case, it should have been mentioned. Because the way the ALP is peeping out, it clearly tells us that he is taken by surprise.

Hi everyone, I too was there with him for railfanning. The train is standing stationery. The red starter is not visible since it was behind the photographer.

Such shots would force the LPs and ALPs to contact the nearest station and inform about photo/video shooting and the SM will waste no time in despatching a bunch of RPF/GRP to the location.

Theres no starter at this point but a few metres down the gradient. The shotis way too risky and even the asst and LP must have been scared to the bone. Dont try to risk your life just to get some interesting angle.

In my opinion, this pic is way too risky. Standing bang in front of an approaching train is not at all recommended.
