Nice coverage by all of you. It was really a treat for me to witness the birthday bash for the first time.

@ Apurva - I think Mumbai chapter has done its bit last year at Mumbai as well as this year by doing a midnight journey and a couple (incl me) came on the preceeding day and being present for the celebrations @ Pune. Its true that DQ originated from Mumbai, but it originates for a given day from Pune currently and it was great to celebrate it here with the Pune chapter, although a couple of Mumbai railfans did make it to CST in the evening.

Is it Duronto? In an other snap i am able to see the AC3T also in Raj livery in the back ground in the set, it might be some AC Spl..

I Think in jun 08 the train was shunted from Daund end, and continued in same direction to mumbai, here has it got the rake form mumbai end, as i see the DQ liviried coach in front next to WCAM3 in another snap.Or am i missing sumthing?
