Some serious stuff. But, good to see that discussions are moving on to a higher plane.

With the border issue resolved between India and Bangaladesh, we can hope to see some progress in this matter too. As long as the train does not cross the Teesta river !!

Hey - Lunch with some chilled beer !! Now, that is my kind of a convention. Better still would be if this lunch with beer event was to be held somewhere along the 64,000 Kms. of IR tracks !!!

Oh my god. Is this Williams? I was here last year and took the train to the canyon but mine was a twin diesel hauled service with more modern coaches. All retired though. I am so happy to see the steamer on the line. It was plinthed on the platform, right beside where this photograph was shot. One monster of a locomotive.
