One of the very few electric locos in Pakistan. Probably dates to the mid-60s when the Lahore-Khanewal line was electrified. No further electrification since then.

The banner states that it is running from Dhaka Cantt to Chitpur, though the official name for the latter is Kolkata station.

I suppose there are few graded sections where these trains run and hence no CBC. Also, lesser speeds maybe.

Also I think the toilets are located in the main coach area, as the area post the door toward end of coach doesnt seem able to house a rail toilet. There seems to be some place between the door and the window, does anyone have an idea on this?

Livery is similar to that of the DQ's erstwhile 'Ambulance Livery'!!! Are they ICF/BEML/LHB coaches???
'WEC' doesn't seem like a IR rolling stock code!!!

This is about 14 km from the spot where a train was hit by the tsunami on Dec 26, 2004.

This locality was badly damaged by the tsunami on Dec 26, 2004. Trains services were resumed after a few months.
