Note the airconditioner on top of the cab. Subbu commented that this loco (waiting at SBC with outbound Rani Chennama Exp a few days back) sounds quite different from the other WDP 4s.

More on the design, the curvy nose does not seem to really fit in with the sharp edges and angular faces that the rest of the loco body has. Lets hope they did better with the interals ;-).

While the loco does look interesting in this photo, I don't really understand the neccesity of redesigning the nose of the cab on the windscreen side. The color combo could have been better but this will do for innovative stuff from IR for now

it was in the 11th march TOI, and i guess it was in all the editions. it's darkened top&left sides are a result of tape. i've taped it on to my clipboard along with two of Vikas's fab pics

well the livery looks cool..guess i saw an WDM2 with maroon and green..., seen a green YDM4...but never saw an red green YDM4 ever....lol....but it looks nice and i frogot 2 mention ..while i sleep i have 2 speakers over my bed playin the sound of and WDM2 idleing...:P..lol

As u can see in the part of the name board on the platform, I had named my fav train the Karnataka Express as dep at 6.30pm..!!!...n there was a Jupiter Express...hahah...talk abt my imagination runnin wild!!!
Btw dont u think the loco livery is pretty good!!???

Yea its an MG loco. I remember this pic n why i drew it. This was just after SBC began running all BG from SBC itself. In those days SBC had both BG and MG running at SBC for a short while together before it all became BG....i remember the MG very well coz i used to frequent the MYS route often. Same for MAS.

The loco in the pic ..is it an YDM4???...for the loco number says it is ,,,,,, "6500" is YDM4
