I have travelled in regular 3A coaches with such setup (an additional berth for LB) in 6123/24 as well as 2695/96 as recent as Sep 7, 2009. I used wonder why spend one extra berth like this... so this seems to be the standard for Raj coaches.

To know the detail of color scheme & leg pl see following news item
http://www.telegraphindia.com/1090919/jsp/frontpage/story_11516141.jsp

“The coaches of the train have on them a work of art in primary colours denoting speed, in the middle of which is a pair of legs, coloured blue, in a running stance,”

yes it is painted vinyl film pasted on coach

The painting was digitally embossed on cast polymeric vinyl — a type of film that has good adhesive quality — by using the ultraviolet technique. It took eight days for the agency to stick the painted films on the outside of 18 coaches.

The green and yellow stuff is tolerable but what's with those blue streaks coming out of nowhere? It just spoils the entire livery!

I understand it is paint & not sticker. Railways does simple things complicatedly . no body can do a patch painting at later date to this livery
