Milind - the entire trip cost us just Rs. 1600 each, with a night in an air-conditioned hotel - all tickets, all food, all transportation and minor sightseeing included. Surely that is not expensive for an outing of over 50 hours with 24 different types of transport movements?

Why such non-uniformity in the livery among the Jan Shatabdi coaches themselves?

To Vicci: I was standing next to the viaduct - can you spot me to the right of the locomotive in this image?

Great image. You have promoted the SHF WDP4 in a right way and it must be a treat to listen to the HT honking in pin drop silence for several kilometres.

Lovely image. It seems due to vacation time it has been increased to 12 coaches. I would still say Jan Shatabdi should be made a 15 coacher throughout the year as it runs full almost on all days and also lots of foreign tourists travel a lot in this train.
