If I am not wrong, its a Ashok Leyland engine..I couldnt figure out the manufacturer.

Most interesting. Narrow gauge in Mumbai! What is the actual gauge ? 0.6 metres or 1 metre? How much length of line in KM? regards

Thank you, thank you, thank you so much for adding this picture! I've criss crossed the track so many times while riding in a taxi, I've even had this train cross my path once, but it was at a distance and it disappeared as quickly as it had appeared. First time since 1971 that I've actually managed to see what it looks like, thanks to you.
