Vivek & Nishant - Commendable effort from both of you for trekking the Budhni ghats and giving us a much more clear perspective of the same. Yes. Fortunately the tunnel had deep 'refugee' pits which could have come of use in such situations. Apart from that we had taken information from the gangmen about the on coming trains. They were in constant touch with the BNI station master over the walkie-talkies.

Yes all along this track trains climb gradient.This angle was utilized to prove the same.

Yes I did that on purpose. I wanted to get that background with the signal blurred. The positioning of signals in such ghat sections really catches my attention!
