The Swaraj Express always gets a WCAM-1 loco. This was the first time I saw it with a WCAM-2P. The Swaraj arrives/leaves BCT as an 18-coach train. Six additional coaches are attached at Bandra Terminus.

These photos were taken by Vivek in April'03..many months before the LHB rakes were put into service for the Rajdhani.

I agree Shailesh, feels really nice to see a clean AK Raj rake. Also, good at least one of the EOGs is in matching livery, will be surely neat to see both matching EOGs but still. Something is better than nothing ;) - Sandeep Bhate.

True, even I would like to know that that "Rare" exactly refers to what, please clarify - Sandeep Bhate.

Is it mandatory that either / both of the EOGs should be in mismatched livery, be it Raj or Shat rake!!! Today only saw the "Ultimate livery-matched train" photo of TVC Raj (uploaded by Apurva sometime in past), felt really nice to see that photo - Sandeep Bhate.

a great pic Vivek.. it seems that after getting LHB rakes
WR has finally woken up and take pains to clean AK RAJ rakes which used to be dusty and real sorry ... also EOG is in Rajdhani Livery although abt the front EOG is in Shatabdi Livery.. I wonder why the hell WR do not remove the RAjdhani EOG from ADI Shatabdi and return them to Rajdhanis and same for Shatabdi EOG ,.. it doesnt take so much time.. sorry state of affairs

The purpose of this pic was to show that the shape of the hills do not change for a long time. I would be uploading pics of the land near the reversing station - one has to strain to see similarity between the older pics and the current hills due to severe weathering/erosion. The above location and the reversing station are just 1.5 Kms apart, so the weathering at the reversing station is man made.
