Only the leading WCAM-3 was live.

All the locos except the right-most WCAM-2 # 21864 were attached to their respective loads. 21864 had just hauled the freight which is now headed by a WCAG-1. The WCAG-1 had traveled dead behind the WCAM-2.
Also, the WCAM-2s were freshly painted. You can even see the yellow paint on their cow-catchers just above the rails.

Thats an absolute stunner of a shot! Great stuff Vivek! 2 queries - were all the locos attached to loads? Also, both WCAM2s seem to be fresh out of POH or is that just the rain doing the trick?

2 WCAM3s!? Were both live? If yes, then why does Koyna need 2 locos? - Sandeep Bhate.

The green signal was actually for the Kolhapur-Mumbai Sahyadri Express. The train was just starting up after the mandatory halt at Monkey Hill when I clicked this pic.

Green signal can be for either DQ or Pragati. Truly a very nice view, clouds, waterfall, a bit of catch siding - Sandeep Bhate.

A minor correction of typo. WCAM3 has maximum 39 notches.
