All normal people are asleep in their beds at this time. Railfans prove their sanity by being on the platform at these hours. Keep it up :-)

India is probably one of the few countries where you have an extremely primitive mechanism like the Neale's Token System and an extremely modern instrumentation and control system (like seen above) for synchronizing trains, existing side by side!

How can we afford to manage millions of rail passengers, millions of tonnes of freight and thousands of trains if not for this sort of sophisticated technology. Great picture Vikas!

Really superb. All the mad rush in the stations and trains, and here it is being smoothly controlled by just 2 people. There is just as much seriousness and imprtance to this job as in that of an air trafic controller. One small mistake could cost hundreds of lives.

this livery seems to be lil' different from normal lhb livery of WCAM-2P # 21874. It seeems something is stuck between the cattle guard

Worth showing to those who feel IR is not modern and still living in the stone age. Indian Express comes to mind almost immediately.

Wonderful, wonderful picture. I really liked the charging loco leading the long train through a forest of OHE structures.
