Yes: this was the link between the North and South MG systems: the line between Khandwa and Hingoli was opened in 1960.

WL 15005 from Firozpur shed hauled Udyan Abha Toofan Express as the last scheduled mainline broad gauge steam run on Indian railway. Then it entered the National Rail Museum in Delhi on its own steam (seen here). Dec '1995

Hello...wonderful slide...did you note that the WP here,has both standard and Boxpok type of driving wheels ?...WPs were mainly seen with Boxpok Wheels.
