Hmmm.. If this is not supposed to be an IR line and if Harsh's second assumption is correct, could this be a photo from the Achalpur - Murtazapur - Uavatmal line?

I am only guessing but would it be one of the 2' gauge 2-8-2 from Mysore iron and Steel at Bhadravati?
It does look more like a B/1 or D/1 from CR.

Hard to believe that structure stands till today though the steam locos have long gone! I saw it just 2 weeks back when I had gone to BNC. It is now used a goods depot

The crane must be having dual brakes, or atleast brake pipes for air brakes in case the rest of the breakdown rake is air braked.

This looks strange. I can kind off make out two brake hose pipes of the Air Brake type. Such an old machine with Air Brakes? Or was it converted?
