SBC raj!
Posted by Siddhartha Ganesh on 2007 Jul 05 16:50:46 +0100
This shot epitomises the phrase 'Point and Shoot' in the true sense. After a successful railfanning session at SNF, myself and Mamu approached Bharatnagar to take our locals back home and also capture the outbound Hussain Sagar exp, when suddenly we heard this sharp blast of an Alco. Expecting to see a freigher roll by, we turned around to see this sight. Mamu had enough time to siphon through the bag, take the cam out of the cover, sitch it on and shoot. And the next moment the Raj was gone.. screaming past us at nothing less than 90kmph ! You can see how amazed the onlookers at the station were seeing the Raj ripping past.

We have these trees in parts of Australia, but I have never seen them this shade or so large! How striking!

A lovely picture. The petals fallen on the ground also enriches the picture.
