You are right Sunny, the building is indeed the former "Raja Bahadur Mills", now the "Le Meridian" 5 star hotel (just outside Pune railway station). Sandeep.

If I am not mistaken the 6 story building in the fore ground is the former 'Raja Bahadur Mills' now reconverted to a Five Star Hotel. I cant recall the name. Sunny .

In fact, this photo was taken shortly after doubling of the PGT - ERS section. In the initial days after doubling, as you can see in this photo, north bound express trains used to stop at Platform #1. Later, this practice was stopped and this had led to much resentment amongst the traveling public.

In agreement with David,it is also not dissimilar to the 17:22 South West Trains service from London Waterloo to Ashford (Middlesex)!!
