The station 7 miles away from Arakkonam Jn is not Munnal but Minnal. Minnal is a small town 3 km away from the existing station (at the same location) - Anvardhikanpettai. Interestingly, this is shown as a block station way back in 1931, however now is a Halt station only. Chitteri and Mahendravadi on either sides of this station are now the block stations.

Yet another interesting thing; Few fast trains skipping Bombay Central and Dadar both. Never thought any local would dare to do that.

It seems that 19/20 was extended to Dehradoon later. While this Delhi Express is there, the other one, 23/24 Delhi Janata is not there. I guess it was introduced post independence when several Janta trains announced.

The reason for this marketing for Frontier Mail is the competition with GIP's Punjab Mail (5Dn / 6Up)
