As for the falls, could be anywhere, hard to make an educated guess.

The Kailash temple at Ellora does not come under Western Zone at all. The closest station is at Khuldabad (South Central Railway).

The Ernakulam terminus is now known as Ernakulam Goods and is a famous ghost station whose last train ran over a decade ago. The turnoff is near ERN's north cabin, fairly close to where I used to stay long ago.

And this explains why stations from Beach to Kodambakkam have codes starting with M (MSB, MSF, MPK, MS, MSC, MKK). All these were considered as part of the Madras City. Mambalam and Saidapet were outside the city limits under Saidapet municipality.

DSY is most definitely Dhanushkody. Also, the code for Kandambakkam is KDMD - it gets explained now. This station has had a different name earlier! (Kandamanadi)

Indo Ceylon Express has a halt of nearly 4 hours at Mandapam Camp for Medical Examination. Were they scared of exporting diseases from India to Ceylon?
