This derailment happened on the morning of 2012-06-01 between Kurla and Vidyavihar, next to fourth UP through shunting line. There were no service disruption as it happened on a shunting line. The locomotive WDS6 36103 from Pune shed was retrieved late last night after the last service. (Rajendra Aklekar)

Some change in plans, I guess. The loco was re-railed last night. It is now standing upright.

Rajendra has sent me updates of the status. The loco will not be retrieved. It has ended its codal life and CR has taken a decision that the loco will be cannibalized at the site.
