A pair of ancient gate posts and a meaningless level crossing exist in the section. The level crossing leads to the down track (lower level) without an equivalent crossing on the up track. This may suggest that the Mumbai – Pune line was initially a single track while it was laid during the late 1800s – we might be looking at relics from the GIPR era. The only (im)probable exit for a road on the other side would be through the culvert (which had a live water stream flowing through it) that can be seen on the up track.
