A peep inside the cement quarry at Malabar Cements

Line B turns left from Walayar towards Tamil nadu. On the ledt is the shunting line for the Malabar Cements loop

I liked this picture very much. Look at nature trying to regain control of mankind!! Fresh Algae grows on cement factory dust, painting green over dust brown colour

The home signal on Line B is on a less interesting location but inside a thick forest

The forest line proceeds towads Tamil nadu. I ended my trip here. I will go further sometimes later

The unique and rare twin Single Line operation exist in the ghat section between Kanjikode in Kerala and Podanur in Tamil Nadu. This is the line A, the line on the left side towards Palghat. There is no up and down lines in this twin track section

IMG_0011

This is the Line B, oing towards Palghat. Both the lines follow a completely different alignment from madukarai to Kanjikode. Line B has comparitively less gradient to Line A. Also, Line B is the newer of the two lines
