This is the same one earlier used to be in NGC shed. This was in fact used for Brahmaputra by Steam run from GHY to Pandu ghat. I just wonder why they have plinthed this loco which is still in working condition. It could be used for special runs.

It is a very nice picture and a lot of effort has gone into restoration and plinthing of this locomotive. Unfortunately, in the end, it does not look anything like a MAWD locomotive. All they needed was to look at a few pictures of these locomotives...

Wow... great composition, exposure and sharpness. The dark background lends a superb touch with the entire focus being in the loco.
