The 1st ever 1500V Direct Current Sub-station to come up in Entire Asia. 1500V DC TSS at Kurla, which powered the 1st ever electrified territory on Indian Railways. The 1st section to be electrified was the BoriBunder Victoria Terminus-BBVT (Today CSTM) <-> Coorla-CLA (Today Kurla) harbour line section of Greater Indian Peninsular Railway (Today Central Railway).
