A view of the Raipur bypass lines moving away to the left of the picture at Sarona. Trains that skipped Raipur used to take this route earlier. The ingenious trackwork (bottom left portion) is designed to delay all trains from NGP to R by 10 minutes. Trains run at 15 kph when they could be doing 100 because of the layout. The sleepers and half finished track have remained this way for three years now. The triple line section from Bhilai to Raipur (Sarona) is slightly unconventional. While the middle line is bidirectional, it is the line normally used by passenger and mail express trains. Google Earth Co ordinates for this place: 21°15'13.98"N 81°34'51.69"E. Sarona
