This is how the Dual Gauge line from Dhaka intruded into the Pre-Independence BG Double Track Mainline between Kolkata and Siliguri. Now, this line can accommodate MG traffic straightaway from Chittagong port. ()

WDM-3A#6412 of Bangladesh Railway is getting ready to haul 3110-Maitree Express from Dhaka Cantt. to Kolkata. The rake is the ER SDAH Divn one. This train later overtook BR's Sundarban Express bound to Khulna. Bangla railfan Najmul was behind the camera.
