The brightly decorated DC EMU arrives at Bandra. WR had planned a final run with a DC EMU between Bandra & Churchgate one day before the conversion of the VLP-CCG section to 25KV AC. (Vivek Manvi)

His highness the "King", Mumbai Rajdhani was the first train to leave from Mumbai after successful DC to AC conversion. Here loco is seen coupled to rake and ready to go. (Aamod)

WCAM-1 1st Run

The trial loco run was conducted by WCAM-1 #21839. Honored (shehbaaz)

Retrofitted pure AC rake #3010 was inducted into service today. In this pic, it can be seen at Churchgate, working on a Borivali slow service. (Akshay Marathe)

Totally agree with Sachin and Akshay. Indeed it feels so weird; until the day of conversion it was WCAMx with all our fav trains. And suddenly, very next day entire landscape has changed. Feels I'm away from home..

Now, even ADI bound...

Agree with you Sachin. The WCAM-1s and 2s will be sorely missed. I have mixed feelings regarding these AC locos. After being used to seeing these workhorses (WCAMx) for my entire life, it feels extremely weird to suddenly see the WAPs in Mumbai. Somehow...
