The rake of Azadi Express is stabled PF #3 at Khadki. This is the same platform which is used by NDA special. The platform has a direct road connectivity. The entrance to the rake is from the far end, but the tent used for inauguration was erected at the wrong end since the previous stop over of the train was at Ahmednagar and reversal of the rake at Daund was not accounted for.
